A regional architectural treasure, Executive Square was built in 1905. That cornerstone building initially housed the Davenport Commercial Club (predecessor to the Davenport Chamber of Commerce). The property ultimately expanded to include the Dempsey Hotel and the Frey building (later renamed the Frye Building), filling the corner at 4th and Main.
